Research Studies

The LA84 Foundation Youth Sports Survey: Los Angeles County, 2016, the first study of its kind in LA,tells us what sports kids play, how often they play, and who is not playing. The survey presents results by geographic region, age, ethnicity, gender, household income, mode of participation and type of sport venue where kids play. These findings will establish a baseline of information to guide LA84’s work and investments over the next three years.

Laureus USA is committed to advancing the evidence base of the sport for development sector. We value academic research and program evaluation as tools for measuring and improving methodology. We commission research and impact measurement in order to identify lessons learned, to drive innovation and to improve the quality of all sport for development programs.
