PYSC Mandated Reporters Training

PYSC members are invited to an in-person mandated reporters training on Friday, March 22nd, 2019.

A mandated reporter is anyone who works or volunteers with children, and they are required by law to report suspected child abuse. The Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance will provide this training to understand the legal definitions of a child, perpetrator, and categories and indicators of abuse. Participants will also learn their obligations and rights, and how to make a report.
