DESCRIPTION:The first workshop in PYSC’s “Skill Development for Coaches” series\, this hands-on session is open to anyone leading programming at Philadelphia Parks & Recreation facilities (paid or volunteer) and PYSC’s member organizations. Participants will be guided through hands-on activities designed to teach coaches how to more effectively and efficiently give feedback to their athletes. \nIn the second half of this session\, Mallory O’Riordan\, Outreach and Grassroots Soccer Coordinator for the Eastern PA Youth Soccer Association\, will introduce a soccer drill that coaches can incorporate into every practice; when facilitating the drill\, Coach Mal will demonstrate effective feedback.
