Beth Devine Headshot

Beth Devine, Executive Director

Beth Devine was named the Executive Director of PYSC in May, 2016. Devine has an extensive background in sports-based youth programming, most recently having founded Philly Girls in Motion, an organization that delivers physical activity and sports programs for girls in schools and communities throughout Philadelphia. Beth started the organization with the help of then Councilman, now Mayor Jim Kenney, who asked her to build a basketball program in South Philadelphia in partnership with the six Division I women’s basketball programs located in Philadelphia. Beth went on to serve on Mayor Kenney’s Transition Team as the Co-Chair of the Community and Culture Committee, focusing on programming for youth in our schools and Parks and Recreation facilities.

Previously, Beth gathered knowledge in relationship building, marketing, fundraising, and event planning through her work at great organizations like the American Cancer Society, The Philadelphia Big 5, and O’Neill Properties Group.
